Chinese Ink Painting 'Rooster 1' - Origional Art Work
This work is part of the Bloom series 2025, featuring a rooster as a study of form, movement, and character within the garden context.
The rooster is both familiar and symbolic—often associated with early light, rhythm, and presence in rural life. In this series, it is observed not only as an animal, but as a dynamic form defined by posture, gesture, and pattern.
The composition focuses on their striking silhouettes and layered markings, translating movement into line and shape. Through this, the work continues the broader Bloom theme of observing living forms within cultivated and natural spaces, where structure and vitality exist side by side.
Size: approx 300 x 300 mm
Material: Ink on Xuan paper (natural fibre). Due to the nature of the material, slight texture, buckling, or creasing may occur as part of the process. Works are sold unframed and can be flattened/stretched and framed on request with additional cost. Each piece carries my red seal.
