Chinese Ink Painting 'Wheelbarrel' - Origional Art Work

I created this garden-themed collection for Bloom 2025.

I have always been drawn to ritual—how people tend to their everyday practices, and the quiet, nurturing aspect of how we care for things over time. There is something deeply human in these moments of attention and repetition.

Gardening, in particular, stands out to me as one of the most enriching hobbies. From hobbyist to seasoned grower, it is a practice that connects people to time, place, and patience. It nurtures not only the garden itself, but the person tending it.

This collection is a celebration of that quiet dedication—of gardeners as makers of small, living rituals, and of the way these practices nourish the soul.

Size: approx 300 x 300 mm

Material: Ink on Xuan paper (natural fibre). Due to the nature of the material, slight texture, buckling, or creasing may occur as part of the process. Works are sold unframed and can be flattened/stretched and framed on request with additional cost. Each piece carries my red seal.
