Chinese Ink Painting 'Woman' - Origional Art Work

This work is a study of a woman, focusing on the movement and flow of her hair as it takes up the majority of the composition.

Rather than a detailed portrait, the emphasis is on gesture and rhythm. The hair becomes the central subject—shifting, expanding, and moving across the page in expressive lines that guide the eye.

The figure is present, but partially secondary to the energy of movement. This allows the work to explore flow, balance, and the expressive potential of line, where form is suggested through motion rather than defined detail.

Size: approx 300 x 300 mm

Material: Ink on Xuan paper (natural fibre). Due to the nature of the material, slight texture, buckling, or creasing may occur as part of the process. Works are sold unframed and can be flattened/stretched and framed on request with additional cost. Each piece carries my red seal.
