'New Begining' Linoprint with chiné collé - 3 unique work

This work brings together the snowdrop and the playing card—an Ace—through a linoprint composition.

The snowdrop, one of the first flowers to appear at the turn of the year, carries a quiet sense of renewal. It emerges in the cold, often unnoticed, marking the beginning of change before it is fully seen. Paired with the Ace, a symbol of beginnings and potential, the image reflects on starting again.

The piece has also developed into three unique colour variations using the chiné collé technique—a traditional French method where coloured paper is bonded into the print during the process. Each variation introduces a different tone and atmosphere, making every print distinct while holding the same underlying form.

Through this, New Beginning speaks to cycles of change, where small shifts in colour and material mirror the subtle transitions of time.
