This year has felt deeply unsettling — for me, and for so many of us. I found myself asking hard questions: Does the world really need another pair of earrings?
With so much suffering, I felt small for a while, unsure of how my work fit into it all.
But with that uncertainty came clarity.
I’m grateful every day to have a business I’m passionate about, but something has shifted inside. I’m finishing my Gift Range and clearing the studio — not to end anything, but to make space for a new direction.
In 2026, Saw Framed will become quieter, slower, and more intentional. I’ll be creating far fewer pieces, with far more care: collectible, limited-edition works that are given the time they deserve.
I’ve always wanted to give more space to my drawings — they’re half the reason the name Saw Framed exists. After six busy years of jewellery-making, I’m ready to honour that side of my practice again. At heart, I’m a sculptor who works small. I don’t do stone-setting; I don’t fit neatly into the traditional definition of “jeweller.”
I make miniature sculptures — and in 2026, I’m embracing that fully.
Building this business over the past six years has been an incredible journey, and I’m proud of everything I’ve achieved. Now it’s time to look inward and create from a place that truly aligns with my soul.
After Showcase Ireland in January, you’ll hear less noise from me. I’ll be returning to my studio to draw, to think, and to make. I’ll be quieter on Instagram, but I’ll continue to share updates through my monthly newsletter.
I feel peaceful. I feel ready.
And I’m genuinely excited for the year ahead.
